About
Built for the companies that got told they were too small.
The category leader built its business on owned child care centres and long enterprise sales cycles. That model works, and competing with it head-on — centre for centre — is not a fight worth picking.
But it leaves three things on the table. Mid-market companies want this benefit and are quoted minimums that assume ten thousand employees. Adult and senior care — the “my mother fell and can’t be alone for a week” case — is growing fastest as workforces age, and a network of child care centres does nothing for it. And reimbursement, where a family uses someone they already trust, is treated everywhere as the consolation prize rather than a legitimate first-class option.
We’re building for those three gaps. Not a cheaper version of the enterprise product — a different shape of product, for a buyer the enterprise product was never designed to serve.
We’re early. We don’t have a wall of client logos and we’re not going to manufacture one. What we have is a working product, a vetted caregiver network in our launch market, and room for a small number of design partners who want a say in how this gets built.
What we believe
Four principles, and what each one costs us.
These aren't values-page decoration — each of them makes something about running this business harder, which is roughly how you can tell they're real.
The booking must land
A request we can't auto-match escalates to a person, then to reimbursement. There is no state in our software where a family is shown a dead end and told to figure it out. That's a design constraint, and it's why the ops queue exists at all.
Speed is the product
Nobody books back-up care in advance for fun. The median request arrives the night before or the morning of. A benefit that confirms tomorrow is a benefit nobody uses.
Trust is the moat
Every caregiver surface shows credentials and background-check recency because you should be able to check rather than take our word for it. We would rather lose a booking than fill it with someone unvetted.
Say what happens and when
No 'comprehensive care solutions'. No 'empowering working families'. A caregiver comes to your home, usually within four hours. If we can't, we say so and pay for the person you find.
Where we are
Honestly, then.
Our marketing site is live and our product is built. We are onboarding design-partner employers in our first metro and recruiting the caregiver supply to serve them. SOC 2 Type II evidence collection has started and the report is not in hand — we say so on the security page rather than letting procurement discover it.
Pricing is not published yet. That’s the single most valuable thing we could put on this site and it goes up the day the rate card is final. Until then, ask on a demo and you’ll get a real number in writing the same day.
Want a say in how this gets built?
We're taking a handful more design partners. The demo is a conversation, not a pitch.
